This traditional stone townhouse situated in the centre of Lauzerte, officially listed as one of the most charming villages in France, was carefully restored in 2002.It is full of character and atmosphere with ancient wooden beams and terracotta tiled or wooden floors.
The kitchen, living, and dining areas are located on the ground floor, and are decorated with sunflower yellow and maroon drapes. The kitchen is fully fitted with a small refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, countertop oven, a range of appliances, and a washing machine. The dining table seats six normally, but can be made larger for extra guests. The living area has two comfortable sofas and an antique cocktail table. This area also has a television and a stereo, along with games, guide books and periodicals.
On the middle floor there is 1 double bedroom (bed 140x190) with large fireplace and sitting area, shower-room and a toilet. The 2nd bedroom is on the top floor - with slanting roof - it has a double bed (140x190) and a single bed (90x190). This bedroom also features a large closet and sitting area. The windows overlook the ancient tiled roofs of Lauzerte.
Bedlinen and towels are supplied. Pets are not allowed. 50% deposit required.
Lauzerte is on the Milky Way, which was a name for the medieval pilgrimage route to the Shrine of Santiago de Compostella in Spain.
